Toward a Model of Holistic Dance Teacher Education

Abstract

Abstract A model for the holistic preparation of dance teachers is presented. The model includes four tenets: focus on the whole person, integrated curriculum, explicit identity development, and apprenticeships in relevant communities of practice.
