Abstract

The essential requirements for preparing a bimolecular collisional superposition state in the laboratory, allowing for control over reactive scattering, are described. Specific applications to isotopic variants of H+H2 scattering are used to demonstrate the range of control for superposition states built from degenerate diatomic states.
