We propose and analyze theoretically logical circuitry based on electron waveguides. The circuit elements are branching electron waveguides (Y-branch switches) where an applied field gives a nonlinear digital response function, giving standardized signal levels. The proposed circuitry is shown to exhibit features analogous to those of complementary metal-oxide semiconductors. Circuits implementing NAND and NOR functions are shown, as well as a realization of a logical implication that only requires one Y-branch switch.
