SUMMARY Among persons with fibrotic pulmonary lesions compatible with healed tuberculosis who partici pated in a controlled trial of isoniazid prophylaxis, information was obtained on the living chil dren of 1,165 women and 1,270 men of reproductive age to whom the children were born in the first 5 years of observation. No significant differences were found between the isoniazid and placebo groups in birth rates, sex ratios, or birth weights. Further, women who became pregnant did not develop active tuberculosis more frequently than those who did not have children during the !) years of observations.
