Immunization Studies on Listeriosis in Mice

Abstract

Summary Under the conditions of this experiment there was no passive protection of mice against Listeria monocytogenes from sheep and rabbit antilisteria serum. Active immunity was demonstrated in mice against two strains of Listeria monocytogenes. The implications of these findings are discussed.
