Integrated management strategies for varieties tolerant and susceptible to wheat blossom midge.

Abstract

This is the final report of a forty-five month project which started in April 2005. The work was a Defra-sponsored LINK project for £238,181 (LK0969), together with a contract of £140,857 from HGCA, plus £5,698 in-kind (project no. 3121). The following companies also contributed in-kind industrial contributions: Dow AgroSciences Ltd (£30,500); AgriSense BCS Ltd (£19,844); Elsoms Seeds Ltd (£21,130); Advanta Seeds Ltd and Nickersons UK Ltd – both now Limagrain (£19,576 and £27,513 respectively), making a total of £503,299.
