Whole-cell Patch Clamp
Whole-Cell Patch Clamp is a variant of the patch-clamp electrophysiology technique in which the membrane patch underlying the recording pipette is ruptured to establish low-resistance electrical access to the entire cell interior, enabling measurement of the sum total of ionic currents across the cell membrane under voltage-clamp or current-clamp conditions.
