Watershed Storage Processes

Watershed Storage Processes is the set of hydrological mechanisms by which water is temporarily retained within the various physical compartments of a watershed (e.g., soil, groundwater, snowpack, vegetation, and surface water bodies), thereby regulating the timing, magnitude, and partitioning of water fluxes and controlling changes in the watershed water balance.
