Wake Interaction Effects

Wake Interaction Effects is a phenomenon in fluid dynamics and aerospace engineering wherein the aerodynamic performance of a maneuvering vehicle is altered by the residual flow structures, such as vortices and turbulence, generated by its own previous motion or by nearby vehicles, distinguishing it from isolated flow interactions through its dependency on temporal and spatial proximity of successive or concurrent maneuvers.
