Vitrification Toxicity

Vitrification Toxicity is a type of cryoprotectant-induced cellular damage that arises specifically from the high concentrations of cryoprotective agents required to achieve vitrification, distinguished from other forms of cryoinjury by its association with the chemical toxicity and osmotic stress inherent in the vitrification process.
