Upf3 Function

Upf3 Function is a molecular mechanism within the nonsense-mediated decay pathway that serves as an adaptor protein responsible for bridging the exon junction complex to the core decay machinery, thereby distinguishing transcripts targeted for degradation through its specific interaction with Upf2 and the ribosome during translation termination.
