Uneven-aged Management

Uneven-Aged Management is a silvicultural stand-management system that maintains three or more distinct tree age classes within the same stand over time by periodically removing individual trees or small groups and promoting continuous natural regeneration, thereby sustaining an irregular, multi-aged structure rather than discrete even-aged cohorts.
