Two-dimensional Intercalation Hosts
Two-Dimensional Intercalation Hosts is a class of layered crystalline materials that enable the reversible insertion of guest species into spatially confined, atomically thin interlayer galleries, thereby distinguishing them from bulk or zero-dimensional hosts by their anisotropic structural architecture and high surface-to-volume ratio conducive to rapid ion transport.
