Transporter Function Prediction
Transporter Function Prediction is a computational method that identifies and classifies the substrate specificity and transport mechanisms of membrane transporter proteins based on sequence, structure, or omics-derived features, distinguishing it from general protein function prediction by focusing explicitly on the functional characterization of solute carriers, ion transporters, and efflux pumps in biological membranes.
