Transcriptome-guided Annotation
Transcriptome-Guided Annotation is a genome annotation method that integrates transcriptomic data, such as RNA-Seq alignments or assembled transcripts, to precisely delineate gene structures, including exon-intron boundaries, transcription start and stop sites, and alternative splicing variants, thereby enhancing the accuracy and biological relevance of gene predictions.
