Thin Lens Model

The "Thin Lens Model" is a simplified optical model within camera simulation that belongs to the class of geometric camera models and is distinguished by its assumption that the lens has negligible thickness, thereby allowing light rays to refract only once at the lens center while adhering to the paraxial approximation for predicting image formation.
