Thermal Constant Estimation

Thermal Constant Estimation is a methodological framework in thermal biology that quantifies the cumulative temperature requirement for a developmental process by determining the degree-day or thermal time necessary for an organism to progress from one ontogenetic stage to another, distinguishing it from general temperature response models through its focus on developmental rate linearity in relation to temperature.
