Syntaxin Function

Syntaxin Function is a molecular mechanism within neurotransmitter release machinery that specifies the role of syntaxin—a target membrane (t-) SNARE protein—in mediating synaptic vesicle docking and fusion by forming a core SNARE complex with synaptic vesicle (v-) SNAREs, thereby ensuring precise regulation of exocytosis in neuronal communication.
