Sward Interception Efficiency
Sward Interception Efficiency is a quantitative metric that measures the proportion of incident precipitation captured and retained by the above-ground biomass of a sward before reaching the soil surface, distinguishing it from other hydrological partitioning metrics by specifically characterizing the canopy-level interception capacity of managed grassland vegetation.
