Suspect-victim Relationship

Suspect-Victim Relationship is a criminological construct that identifies and categorizes the social, familial, or interpersonal connection between the alleged offender and the deceased in a homicide incident, distinguishing it from other investigative variables by focusing specifically on the nature and type of pre-existing or situational bond that may influence the motivation, context, and resolution of the crime.
