Surface Diffusion On Ice

Surface Diffusion On Ice is a physicochemical process in which adsorbed molecules or atoms migrate across the surface of ice lattices via thermally activated hopping or tunneling mechanisms, distinguished from bulk diffusion by its restriction to the interfacial plane and dependence on surface defects, temperature, and hydrogen-bonding networks.
