Superior Rights

Superior Rights is a legal doctrine in trademark law that constitutes the genus of priority-based entitlements, differing from other trademark interests by establishing a claimant’s paramount legal standing to use or register a mark based on earlier adoption, use, or registration, thereby serving as a grounds for challenging later conflicting marks in cancellation proceedings.
