Super-enhancer Looping

Super-Enhancer Looping is a chromatin architectural mechanism, within the broader class of DNA looping phenomena, that specifically involves the spatial clustering of multiple enhancer elements with target gene promoters via loop extrusion processes mediated by architectural proteins such as cohesin and CTCF, thereby amplifying transcriptional output in a cell-identity-specific manner.
