Structural Robustness Assessment

Structural Robustness Assessment is a systematic analytical framework used in engineering safety evaluation to quantify the capacity of a safety cage structure to withstand progressive failure, localized damage, or extreme loading conditions without catastrophic collapse, thereby distinguishing it from conventional strength or stiffness analyses by focusing on structural redundancy, failure tolerance, and post-damage performance integrity.
