Staged Donation Chains

Staged Donation Chains is a structured protocol in kidney exchange programs that enables a sequence of incompatible donor-recipient pairs to participate in a temporally coordinated series of transplants, where each donation is contingent upon the successful completion of a prior transplant in the chain, thereby mitigating the risks of chain collapse due to donor withdrawal or logistical failure.
