Stability-productivity Relationships
Stability-Productivity Relationships is a theoretical construct in ecology that describes the pattern and mechanistic interdependence between ecosystem stability—measured as temporal constancy, resistance to disturbance, or resilience after perturbation—and ecosystem productivity—quantified as the rate of biomass production—distinguishing itself from other ecological models by explicitly linking the dynamic consistency of ecosystem functions to the level of biological productivity.
