Space-charge-limited Current

Space-Charge-Limited Current is a steady-state electrical current that occurs in a dielectric or semiconducting thin film under an applied voltage, distinguished by its dependence on the accumulation of injected charge carriers that create an internal electric field, thereby limiting further carrier injection and determining the nonlinear current-voltage characteristic.
