Solute Partition Coefficient

The Solute Partition Coefficient is a dimensionless physicochemical parameter that quantifies the equilibrium distribution of a solute between two immiscible phases, typically a lipid membrane and an aqueous solution, defined as the ratio of the solute's concentration in the lipid phase to its concentration in the aqueous phase at equilibrium.
