Small Deflection Theory

Small Deflection Theory is a structural mechanics framework that belongs to the class of beam deflection models and is distinguished by its assumption that beam deformations are sufficiently small such that the curvature of the beam can be approximated linearly, enabling the use of simplified differential equations for analysis.
