Skin Prick Testing

Skin Prick Testing is an in vivo allergy diagnostic procedure in which small quantities of standardized allergen extracts are introduced into the superficial epidermis by superficial puncture to detect the presence of allergen-specific IgE mediating immediate (type I) hypersensitivity reactions.
