Sheet Cavitation

Sheet cavitation is a type of hydrodynamic cavitation characterized by a continuous, coherent layer of vapor bubbles that forms over a portion of a submerged propeller blade surface under low-pressure conditions, distinguished from other cavitation forms by its steady, sheet-like morphology and its origin in localized boundary layer separation and pressure depression.
