Semi-transverse Ventilation
Semi-Transverse Ventilation is a tunnel ventilation system classified under transverse ventilation types that utilizes a combination of longitudinal airflow and partial cross-flow through supply or exhaust ducts distributed along one or both sides of the tunnel, differing from full transverse systems by employing airflow predominantly in the tunnel’s lengthwise direction with limited lateral air exchange.
