Satyr Play
Satyr Play is a genre of ancient Greek drama that preserves the mythological plots, verse form, and structural conventions of Attic tragedy while inflecting them with a chorus of satyrs and a burlesque, often bawdy tone, traditionally performed as the fourth, comic-relief piece in a tragic tetralogy at the Dionysia.
