Saturation Equation Formulation
Saturation Equation Formulation is a mathematical modeling framework within finite difference reservoir simulation that governs the spatial and temporal evolution of fluid phase saturations by discretizing conservation laws with respect to saturation variables, distinguished by its incorporation of relative permeability and capillary pressure relationships to resolve multiphase flow dynamics in porous media.
