Risk-based Thresholds

Risk-Based Thresholds is a decision-making framework in pest management and agricultural economics that identifies the critical population level of a pest at which control actions should be initiated based on an assessment of potential risks to crop yield, economic loss, environmental impact, and uncertainty in predictive models, distinguishing it from purely economic or action-oriented thresholds by incorporating probabilistic risk analysis into the decision criteria.
