Retromer-mediated Sorting
Retromer-Mediated Sorting is a cargo sorting mechanism that selectively retrieves transmembrane cargo proteins from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network or plasma membrane through the recognition and stabilization of cargo by the retromer complex, thereby distinguishing it from other intracellular trafficking pathways through its dependence on the retromer coat subunit and associated sorting nexin proteins.
