Resource-aware Sensing

Resource-Aware Sensing is a distributed sensing paradigm that optimizes the deployment, operation, and data acquisition processes of sensor networks by explicitly accounting for limited system resources such as energy, bandwidth, computational capacity, and time, thereby distinguishing itself through its focus on efficiency and sustainability under resource constraints.
