Resource Rights

Resource Rights is a legal and socio-political concept denoting the rights of communities, particularly Indigenous and minority groups, to access, control, manage, and benefit from natural resources situated in their traditional or ancestral territories, distinguished by their collective, culturally embedded, and often customary nature in contrast to individual or state-centered property rights.
