Resection-mediated Rad51 Loading
Resection-Mediated Rad51 Loading is a molecular mechanism in homologous recombination whereby the 5'→3' nucleolytic resection of DNA double-strand break ends generates 3' single-stranded DNA overhangs that serve as platforms for the direct recruitment and loading of the Rad51 recombinase to initiate strand invasion and repair.
