Refinancing Risk

Refinancing Risk is a form of funding risk in leveraged real estate finance that denotes the possibility that maturing debt cannot be renewed or replaced on anticipated terms, or at all, due to changes in capital market conditions, collateral value, or borrower credit quality, thereby threatening the asset’s cash flow, value, or solvency.
