Recovery Test Analysis

Recovery Test Analysis is a hydrogeological evaluation method that characterizes aquifer properties by analyzing the rate and pattern of water-level rebound in a well following the cessation of pumping, distinguishing itself from other aquifer test analyses through its focus on post-pumping recovery data to estimate hydraulic conductivity, storativity, and aquifer heterogeneity.
