Rank Order Testing is a consumer acceptance testing method that requires participants to rank a set of products, stimuli, or attributes in order of preference, thereby distinguishing it from other testing methods by its focus on relative preference intensity and ordinal positioning rather than absolute evaluations or pairwise comparisons.
