Range Image Reconstruction
Range Image Reconstruction is a computational method within surface reconstruction that specifically generates a two-dimensional depth map representing the distance between a sensor and corresponding points on a three-dimensional object surface, thereby distinguishing it from other reconstruction techniques by its focus on depth data acquisition and spatial range representation.
