Radial Probability Distribution

Radial Probability Distribution is a quantum-mechanical function that, within the context of the hydrogen atom, represents the probability density of finding an electron at a given distance from the nucleus, differentiated from other probability distributions by its integration over spherical shells of infinitesimal thickness and its dependence on the radial wavefunction squared multiplied by the surface area of the sphere at that radius.
