Race Question Design
Race Question Design is a methodological construct in social science research that specifies the formulation and structuring of survey or interview questions intended to categorize individuals by racial identity, distinguishing itself from other classification approaches through its focus on the linguistic, cognitive, and contextual features of question wording, format, and response options as they influence racial self-identification and data accuracy.
