Precursor Microrna Export

Precursor MicroRNA Export is a molecular transport process in which partially processed microRNA transcripts are selectively translocated from the nucleus to the cytoplasm via export receptors, distinguishing it from other RNA export mechanisms by its dependence on the Exportin-5–RanGTP pathway and its specificity for stem-loop structured RNA precursors.
