Polymerase Restart

Polymerase Restart is a molecular mechanism in DNA replication that refers to the resumption of DNA synthesis by a DNA polymerase after transient dissociation from the template, distinguished from continuous elongation by its reliance on accessory proteins and re-priming events to re-establish the replication complex at the primer-template junction.
