Poly(a)-tail-dependent Translation

Poly(A)-Tail-Dependent Translation is a mechanism of translational regulation in which the efficiency of mRNA translation is enhanced by the interaction between the polyadenylate (poly(A)) tail and the 5' cap structure, mediated by poly(A)-binding protein (PABP) and eukaryotic initiation factors, thereby promoting ribosome recruitment and circularization of the mRNA.
