Plant-soil Feedbacks

Plant–Soil Feedbacks is a biological interaction process in which plants modulate the composition and function of soil microbial communities, which in turn differentially affect plant performance, thereby creating a reciprocal, dynamic relationship between plant traits and soil microbiota that influences plant growth, community assembly, and ecosystem functioning.
