Place-based Ethics
Place-Based Ethics is an ethical framework that grounds moral responsibility and decision-making in the unique ecological, cultural, and historical relationships of a specific geographical location, distinguishing it from universal or abstract ethical approaches by emphasizing lived, localized knowledge and reciprocal relationships between Indigenous and local communities and their environments.
